With everything happening in our country, women need our support more than ever.
Through my position at Achieve PT, I like to believe I’m able to make a difference in their lives and the lives of every one of our wonderful patients. I couldn’t ask for a better community to stand behind me and our patients as we work to better the lives of those around us. That’s why I love what I do. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed of making a difference in the way people felt, no matter how big or how small. After years of hard work, we’re proud to announce that our women’s health clinic is up and running. Whether you’re looking for help with complications due to pregnancy or assistance in recovering from a pesky injury, Achieve PT offers the specialized care you’ve come to expect from our team of dedicated professionals. This year marks my 11th year of practicing physical therapy at Achieve PT, and I couldn’t be happier to continue my journey of learning and practicing in the field I love. It’s been a long time coming. My interest in PT started at a very early age. I remember the first time I heard of physical therapy. I was only 9 years old, and my best friend at the time had a father who was a physical therapist. Because we spent so much time together, we ended up hanging out in his clinic a lot. It was from those long days of running the halls and seeing the happiness he was able to bring to his patients that I truly fell in love with the idea of making PT my career.
Sports have also always been major passions of mine. Through my exposure playing every sport you can imagine, from badminton to soccer, I came across plenty of injured comrades. As I got older, I was amazed to see just how much PT can help athletes recover. I’ve seen potentially career-ending injuries turn into minor setbacks through the hard work and determination of physical therapists and patients alike. If you’re willing to work for it, there’s a good chance that we can help you get back on your feet.
While I still love treating patients with orthopedic and sports injuries, becoming a mom has helped me relate to a whole new population. Physical therapy can work wonders for women with any number of issues. Whether problems stem from pregnancy itself or from the effects that can arise after a baby is born, there is a seemingly endless stream of ways we can get you back to where you were before. After having my three children, I can safely say that I would not be where I am today without the help of our field. My work comes from a desire to see this practice become the norm in women’s lives everywhere. That’s why I’ve worked alongside the fantastic staff here at Achieve PT to open our women’s clinic. So many women in our community can benefit from the women’s clinic services.
I couldn’t be happier to continue spreading the love and giving back to the community I call home. Alongside our tight knit staff of specialists, we work hard to make you feel as comfortable as possible when you join our little family. At the end of the day, we’re in this together.
